METRO’s current Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee and staff recognize and thank two volunteers who have given generously of their time and experience to support the members of this credit union over the years. Mike Rich and Dominick Boccia completed their current terms of election and left the Board of Directors in April 2014, due to the increased time commitment required to fulfill their job duties and increased responsibilities at the San Diego Harbor Police Department.

Mike Rich first served the Credit Union from 2003 – 2009 as a member and then Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for the last three years. He then served from 2009 – 2014, as a Member of the Board of Directors, as Secretary/Treasurer for two years and most recently Vice-Chair for three years.

Dominick Boccia was appointed to and then elected as a member of the Board of Directors, from 2010 to 2014, during which time he served on various committees to support the functions of the Board. The Credit Union also congratulates him on his recent promotion to the rank of Lieutenant at the San Diego Harbor Police Department!

As board members, both Mike and Dominick shared with the other board members the general management of the affairs, funds and records of the credit union and helped guide the credit union through some of its most challenging economic periods. They ensured, with the other Board Members and Supervisory Committee, the stability, guidance and vision for METRO to remain strong and committed to providing outstanding service to the members.
